It is really important and essential to give an abstract view of your blog to your blog reader. This not only increases your blog traffic but also show your sophistication level to your reader. To give an abstract view of your blog to reader, you have to implement various blog widget among which dropdown menu is an essential one. I have written quite a few posts about this dropdown menu using CSS and jQuery (and obviously HTML).
Only CSS (and HTML) code of various dropdown menus are discussed in this post. To know how to implement these codes in blogger, you have to read my previous post, Dropdown Menu using CSS3 - Part1.
This menu is compatible with most of modern and classic browsers (undoubtedly supported in latest version of all major browsers) .

Dropdown Menu using CSS3 - Part1

All of the different types of menus that can be used on a website, a dropdown menu provides most benefits. A dropdown menu is able to organize all contents into smaller sub-categories that are easy to navigate. By using a dropdown menu with a large list of categories and sub-categories, the surfing experience of your visitors can be improved.
All dropdown menu described below uses two pieces of codes. One is the HTML code, responsible for positioning the menu in the right place of blogger and the second one is the CSS code, responsible for the look and feel of the menu. The reason for prefering CSS or Cascading Style Sheet over javascript or jQuery is CSS is much more easier than Javascript or jQuery, page loading time is less and compatible with all major browsers.

Customize Popular Post Widget with CSS3

'Recent Posts' or 'Popular Posts' widget which displays your popular blog posts (obviously based upon some analytic statistics) along with image, title and description (obviously these are optional) is undoubtedly very essential widget (or gadget) for blog. I have written quite a few posts about customization of this widget. This post is also one of those. Here some CSS3 properties like transition, transform, back-face visibility , transform-style etc. are used. You can also use CSS3 perspective property, but right now this property is not supported in all browser.
The main reason for using css instead of java-script or jQurey is that it requires less time for loading of the page. Also css properties are very easy to understand as well as to implement. Hope you will enjoy it.

'Recent Posts' widget or 'Popular Posts' widget is very essential widget (or gadget) for blogger blog. This widget displays your blog popular posts based upon some analytic result along with snippet, images etc which are also optional. By default blogger provides some styles for this widget but somehow these are obsolete and unprofessional. I have written quite a few posts about customization of this widget. This post is also one of those customization but a little different. Here i shall show you how to display popular posts or recent posts in horizontal manner instead of vertical. The main and only problem is that it requires larger horizontal space i.e. larger width of of your blog.
