Breadcrumb navigation (as well recognized as 'Breadcrumb trail') is a navigation widget that lets users to know their position
in the hierarchy of a website and to retrace their steps to fail back to beginning with less time and elbow grease. It can be seen in many websites horizontally just above the post title (or maybe below header), and contains links to categories that
related to the posts, the reader is currently on. It is an alternative method of navigation which in fact increases the usability of a website. Often a slash ( / ), a greater-than sign ( > ) or even a twice greater than sign ( >> )
is used as separator in breadcrumb hierarchy.

Only CSS (and HTML) code of various dropdown menus are discussed in this post. To know how to implement these codes in blogger, you have to read my previous post, Dropdown Menu using CSS3 - Part1.
This menu is compatible with most of modern and classic browsers (undoubtedly supported in latest version of all major browsers) .

All dropdown menu described below uses two pieces of codes. One is the HTML code, responsible for positioning the menu in the right place of blogger and the second one is the CSS code, responsible for the look and feel of the menu. The reason for prefering CSS or Cascading Style Sheet over javascript or jQuery is CSS is much more easier than Javascript or jQuery, page loading time is less and compatible with all major browsers.
